Deze foto's heb ik gerepareerd voor een mexicaanse vriendin.
I restored these pictures for a mexican friend of mine.

U kan altijd vragen naar voorwaarden en prijzen voor het herstellen van een foto.
Ik ben wel stukken goedkoper dan de rest, en mijn werk is net zo goed.
When you like what I do and you want to hire me to do some repair work on photos, just let me know, either by email or this blog.
You can always ask what the prices are, and depending on what the work will be and size of the photo, it will not be that expensive.
I am just as good as the local profecional...only much cheaper... but with the same garanties.

Sommige gezichten waren nogal beschadigd.
En om nieuwe ogen te moeten maken is wel lastig, maar ik het het voor elkaar.

Some of the faces were prety damaged but I managed to fix them.
I had to create a few new eyes, but as you can see....it looks nice.

sepia

Deze foto is in sepia, erg donkere sepia.
Dat maakt het herstellen niet gemakkelijk.
Het tafelblad was in zijn geheel weg, dus ik heb een nieuwe moeten maken.
Ik ben trots op mijn werk, het is 100% dan dat het was.

This picture was done in sepia colors and dark.
It doesn't make repair easy.
I also had to make a new table top.
But as you can see, I did a 100% good job.

desktop

Zo ziet mijn desktop eruit.
Ik heb in mijn woonkamer ook hondereden echte oude foto's staan.
Ik heb er iets mee.
De foto's heb ik allemaal ingelijst, de meesten heb ik via marktplaats gekocht.
De hobby begon toen ik een keer bij de kringloop een oude foto vond.
En ja...als je er dan gevoel voor krijgt zit je vast.
Nu ben ik bijna alle dagen op zoek naar foto's, en het maakt me niet als ze kapot zijn hoor, ik repareer ze allemaal... wel met behulp van mijn computer programma natuurlijk... maar toch...


This is how my desktop looks like.
I have hundrets of old pictures and lots of them I have hanging and standing in frames in my living room.
Some of them I got on the internet through Ebay.
And well... when it grabs your heart, there is no way back.
Now I am looking for old photographs on a daily bases.
If they need some repair, I fix them... I work on them digitally...with a special program called paint shop pro and photo shop.

Deze foto was geheel door midden.

Het gezichtje van de baby moest aan de onderzijde weer gemaakt worden.

As you can see, this old picture was completely in half.
I had to restore the baby's face by copying the face of the little sister.
Then I altered it so you can't tell that it is repaired.










Het is niet gemakkelijk, maar ook deze foto heb ik bijna klaar.
Ik weet absoluut niet wie deze vrouwen zijn, ik kreeg dit plaatje als uitdaging.
En ik ga geen uitdaging uit de weg.

On this picture is alot missing, little particalls here and there.
I have no idea who these women are, but I thought I take the challange.
No challange big enough for me.
